Before applying Helio Mineral Cosmetics:
Cleanse, tone & moisturize face & let completely absorb (up to 10 min.) before
applying Helio Mineral Cosmetics. Skin must not be tacky or greasy or minerals
will apply unevenly. |

Face
|
Concealer/Corrector: Shake out tiny amount of
concealer into lid of a jar. Dip Concealer brush tip into minerals, tap off
excess and sweep upward from under eye along nose to inner eyelid. This creates
uniform coverage and overall lightening effect. Use sparingly to avoid
creased or cakey appearance. Applying concealer before foundation
creates an airbrushed look. Experiment with the method that suits you best.
If necessary, apply Mattifier: Sweep lightly
over entire face prior to applying foundation to minimize shine throught the day
and give a matte look to skin.
Foundation: Shake out a small dusting of
foundation into the lid of the foundation jar and swirl the Buffer/Face Brush around in it
to load the brush. Tap excess into lid for application layering.
If you have oily skin: start at your hairline and buff the foundation
with circular motions gently onto your skin, working from the outside-in to your
nose last. This will allow the minerals to warm up to your skin, mix with your
natural oils and create a protective sunscreen barrier.
If you have dry skin: sweep the foundation on the
most needed coverage areas first, using light strokes. Blend to outlying
areas and layer as necessary. The buffing-type application on dry skin can
cause unexfoliated skin to look flaky and dry. Using a light hand and
sweeping motion will ensure a smoother face. The minerals take a few
minutes to warm up to your skin, creating an all day moisture/sunscreen barrier.
Don't forget to blend under your chin and onto your neck.
Blush/Bronzer: Follow directions for
foundation, this time using the Flat Top blush/bronzer brush. Buff minerals onto
apples of cheek in circular motion, gently up and out to hairline, if desired.
Come across forehead, chin, chest, decollete... anywhere you want to glow.
Repeat as necessary to achieve desired results.

Eyes
|
If your eye make up tends to crease, apply Mattifier to lids before applying
shadow.
Shadow: Create depth to your lid by using lighter color on lid (above
lashes), then deeper shade in crease. Finish off with highlighter just under
brows, if desired. Shake out small amount of chosen light color into the lid of
the jar. Dip Shadow brush into color and tap off excess. Sweep over lower eyelid
or entire lid, back and forth.
Apply contour (the darker color) starting below brow bone. Sweep in short
strokes back and forth across crease to desired intensity.
If you have small eyes, use more of the lighter shade on the lid and minimal
contour/crease shade. This will create a larger looking eye.
Work with small amounts so as not to be wasteful or drop shadow onto cheeks.
Use highlighter color on brow bone, if desired.
For more intense color, wet Shadow brush with distilled water, dip into shadow
and smooth over lid. The color intensifies greatly.
Liner: Dry - Dip Liner brush into lid of desired color, tap off excess and
line close to lashes, working from the outside to the inside.
Wet - Wet Liner Brush with distilled water, dip into lid of desired color and
line close to lashes. Repeat if necessary.
Finish with Mascara of your choice.
Brows: Matte brow-matching colors can be brushed into brows to enhance or
correct. Use Stiff Brow brush; dip, tap off excess, brush against hair growth
for natural look.

Lips
|
Smooth lip balm shade of your choice evenly over lips.
You can mix any Helio Minerals with your favorite clear gloss to create a custom
shade. Blue and green shades are not regulated for use on lips. Read the label
carefully. |
